The report described Windmill as a ‘warm and welcoming school’ where ‘pupils walk through the gates with smiles on their faces’. The school was recognised for setting high expectations for learning and behaviour while pupils consistently demonstrated positive attitudes.

During a monitoring inspection Ofsted praised Windmill L.E.A.D. Academy for being a ‘warm and welcoming school’ where pupils are ‘greeted by caring staff who know them well.’
