Applying for a place at Windmill L.E.A.D. Academy

We welcome applications to our warm, friendly, multicultural academy.  Applying for a place is simple and you can either apply online or by telephone.

Nursery Applications

If you would like a place in our Early Years Foundation 1 class (Nursery) , you can apply direct to the school by ringing 0115 915 0195 or speak to a member of staff in the school office.

We admit children the day after their 3rd birthday, so if we have a place your child will be able to start straight away.

Ofsted praises Windmill L.E.A.D. Academy where pupils walk through the gates with smiles on their faces

During a monitoring inspection Ofsted praised Windmill L.E.A.D. Academy for being a ‘warm and welcoming school’ where pupils are ‘greeted by caring staff who know them well.’
